OSCAR Programme Supervisor

ADDI is looking for an inspirational, forward-thinking, mature and organised Programme Supervisor to represent ADDI in our popular OSCAR programmes based in Taupo.

We are a privately-owned local business, seeking passionate and mature leaders who are enthusiastic and caring. We are looking for people who can make a difference by creating a culture of empowerment while developing positive relationships with families and embracing our core values.

Our operational hours are:

 After School Care (ASC) between the hours of 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, 

 Holiday Programme (HP) between the hours of 7.30 am to 5.30 pm 

This would suit parents returning to the workforce, tertiary students, teacher aides, someone who has worked previously and is looking for part-time hours or if you want flexibility in your work life to accommodate your family. The beauty of this position is having the middle of the day to yourself to suit your work-life balance. 

Job Requirements

Do you have the following attributes?

 Passionate people who can relate to school-aged children 5-13 years old

 A team player 

 That special someone who can build positive relationships with children and

their families

 Motivated and can think on your feet

 Common sense & a can-do attitude

 A sense of humour (an absolute must)

 Attention to detail

 You MUST be over 20 years

If you have the following it would be an advantage:

 The ability to work collaboratively with our team to implement our programmes

 A First Aid Certificate 

 A basic understanding of behaviour management 

 Knowledge of the OSCAR sector (training given)



 A full, clean NZ driver’s licence 

 This is a Core Worker role as per the definition under the Vulnerable

Children's Act. 


 All staff are Police Vetted as part of the employment process.

 Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

The successful applicant must be flexible, committed and a good team player. They will also have the necessary skills to work successfully with children who have learning difficulties.
